St. Jerome Catholic School Girls Dress Code
| Socks | Knee socks in white, black or blue with skirt or skort. No thigh high knee-highs, no nylon knee highs, no leggings of any type, and no multi colored or designed socks allowed. In cold weather, tights with feet will be permitted if white or dark blue. | ||||||||
| Shoes | Pre-K 3 through kindergarten must wear velcro black closure shoes (i.e. mary janes). Only the following shoes are permitted for grades 1 - 8. Shoes must not be modified in anyway and must remain fastened or tied throughout the school day. | ||||||||

| Polos | Uniform polos must be purchased at Debbie's Uniform. Uniform polos must be worn tucked inside the uniform at all times and appropriately buttoned. Only solid white undershirts are allowed. PK-3 -5th grade girls-dark blue, light Blue or white polo. 6th - 8th grade girls -dark blue or light blue polos. No white polos. White polos are being phased out and will not be allowed as of January 2012. Pigue light blue and navy blue polos will be phased in as of January 2012. |

| Undergarments | Must be white or a neutral color. | ||||||||
| Skirts | Must be worn no more than two inches above the mid-knee cap. PK-3 through Kindergarten Girls, elastic back, plaid culottes. 1st - 8th Grade Girls, side button wrap plaid skort. 6th -8th side button wrap plaid OR KHAKI SKORT or Khaki pants (The pants must be monogrammed at Debbie's Uniform.) Middle school side button wrap plaid skort is currently being phased out and will not be permitted as of the 2012-2013 school year. Black Belt must be worn with Khaki pants. 6th -8th graders-no rolling of the waistband. |

| Sweaters and Jackets | Solid navy blue sweater or sweatshirt. SJS navy blue windbreaker and navy blue fleece must be purchased at Debbie's Uniform OR at St. Jerome's (Full zip down fleece available at SJS. SJS profits when purchased at school). | ||||||||
| P.E. | Navy blue school logo shorts, school logo t-shirt, or SJS Spirit Day t-Shirt, (no polo shirts) white ankle socks and white or black athletic sneakers (white or black shoelaces and no Converse canvas sneakers). School uniform shoes may not be used for PE. PE shirts are purchased at the school | ||||||||
| Book bags | Must not exceed 10" by 20" in size, and may not be defaced or desecrated in any fashion. No decorative key chains or toys or other hanging decorations attached to book bags. Bookbags with wheels permitted only with a doctor's note. | ||||||||
| Makeup | No makeup is permitted. No fingernail treatment or colored polish is permitted. | ||||||||
| Tattoos | Not allowed, whether temporary or permanent. | ||||||||
| Hair | No coloring or bleaching or high lighting with any products. Hair must be well groomed at all times. Failure to comply with hair coloring rules will result in a detention. Navy blue or white headbands / scarves only. | ||||||||
| Jewelry | No choker chains or large link necklaces. One gold or silver religious necklace, a watch and one ring allowed. No cloth or woven type bracelets or necklaces. No necklaces or bracelets made of shells, beads, and plastic etc. Ear piercing only in lower lobe. Only one earring is permitted in each lower lobe. No cartilage piercing (no band aid to cover up piercing). -No body piercing, no dangling earrings or hoops, no choker necklaces. Failure to comply with piercing rules will result in a detention. Any other jewelry will be confiscated and returned to a parent. | ||||||||
