St. Jerome Catholic School Boys Dress Code
| Belts | Black belts without ornate buckles are required. | ||||||
| Socks | Crew socks white or dark blue socks must be wom at all times. No multi colored or designed socks allowed. | ||||||
| Shoes | Only the following shoes are permitted for grades 1 - 8. Shoes must not be modified in anyway and must remain fastened or tied throughout the school day. Pre-K3 through Kindergarten are required to wear black velcro closure shoes. | ||||||

| Pants | PK3 -PK4 Grade Boys - Dark blue shorts or pants. K - 4th Grade Boys - Dark blue shorts or pants (No Cargo Pants) 5th Grade Boys - Dark Blue Pants (No Cargo Pants) 6th - 8th Grade Boys - Khaki Pants (Khaki pants must be monogrammed at Debbie's Uniforms) |

| Shirts | Uniform polo must be purchased at Debbie's Uniform and must be worn tucked inside pants at all times. Only solid white undershirts are allowed. PK3 - 8th grade boys-dark blue & light blue polo shirts only. White polos are currently being phased out & will not be allowed as of January 2012. Pigue light blue & navy blue polos will be phased in as of January 2012. | ||||||
| P.E. | Navy blue school logo shorts, school logo t-shirt, or SJS Spirit Day t-shirt, (no polo shirts) white ankle socks and white or black athletic sneakers (white or black shoelacesno Converse canvas sneakers). School uniform shoes may not be used for PE. PE shirts are purchased at the school. | ||||||
| Hair | Well groomed, trimmed around the ear and not hanging on collar in the back. Must not hang over the eyebrows or ears. No tails or shaved designs will be tolerated. No more than one 1 inch for spikes and for afros. Fashionable haircuts do not necessarily fall within school regulation. No hair coloring or bleaching. Boys who are shaving must be clean-shaven at all times. Use of # 2 or # 3 shaver is acceptable. No mustaches or long sideburns are permitted. Hair must not be worn "shaggy" or long over the eyebrows and ears. Shaved heads and mohawks are not permitted. | ||||||
| Sweaters and Jackets | Solid navy blue sweater or sweatshirt. SJS navy blue windbreaker and navy blue fleece must be purchased at Debbie's Uniform OR at St. Jerome's (Full zip down fleece available at SJS. SJS profits when purchased at school). | ||||||
| Book bags | Must not exceed 10" by 20" in size, and may not be defaced or desecrated in any fashion. No decorative key chains or toys or other hanging decorations attached to book bags. Bookbags with wheels permitted only with a doctor's note. | ||||||
| Tattoos | Not allowed, whether temporary or permanent | ||||||
| Jewelry | No earrings, choker chains or large link necklaces. One gold or silver religious necklace, a watch and one ring allowed. No cloth or woven type bracelets or necklaces. No necklaces or bracelets made of shells, beads, and plastic etc. | ||||||
