  • Trimester Projects:

    In cooperative groups, students will design a calendar that compares and contrasts holiday events in the target culture and the student’s own culture. Students will interview a Spanish native speaker in person. The students will prepare biographies of native speakers and orally present it to the class. Students will prepare their own reading books in Spanish. Students will study TV commercial and/or newspaper advertisements. As group projects, students will also design and produce a similar advertising campaign by making posters, pamphlets or videos, which will be presented to the class by the group in the target language. Students will view videos containing typical cultural practices and class discussions will follow.
